Dear Employers and Employees of California,

Welcome to Prospice Group Corporation!  Over the past several years, our vision has grown so that today we are a family of companies that, together, provides employers and workers of California with unique workers' compensation solutions.  We have focused on the development of tailored programs designed to solve the complex workers' compensation and healthcare management issues that are prevalent today.  Through claims administration, case management, provider networks, and focused cost containment practices, we are committed to instilling accountability while recognizing that our vision, goals and programs will offer the most comprehensive wellness package on the market.

The role we play is pivotal.  Employers in California spent nearly 60 billion dollars in 2006 for employee absenteeism due to illness and injury.  Employers are frustrated with rising premiums, fraud, disability, wage increases, case management, sub-standard providers and the lack of quality care now available to injured workers.  These problems are overwhelming HR departments and company management, while creating disgruntled employees. 

Until now, employers have been forced to rely on their contracted management service providers to provide advice on how to reduce premiums and implement risk reduction programs.  However, what most employers don't realize is that there is little incentive for these providers to help employers cut costs.  The reality is that every dollar the employer saves is money out of the provider's own pocket that would have been realized through commissions and premium revenues.  In short, the system cultivates excessive cost and poor accountability for loss runs.

These oversights cost millions of dollars in excess expenses and increased insurance premiums.  Yet, employers feel helpless in reversing the problems.  In the face of rising costs, turning a profit becomes more difficult and growth is stymied.  My personal mission is to turn the tide and give power back to employers who knows their own workforce and what is best for their company success.  Prospice Group Corporation has committed its resources, talents, expertise, and years of experience to developing programs for employers that not only stop this abuse, but offer premium solutions to our clients.
