Medical Providers Network - California Healthcare Networks (CHN) California Healthcare Networks is a select group of nearly 2,700 providers throughout the state of California. Each participating provider is required to apply for membership and must conform to universal credentialing standards. Each member is screened and qualified to perform their area of specialty. We have built and continue to grow a strong network of qualified providers that understand workers' comp, as well as cover a variety of geographic territories so that we may provide convenient access to patients and injured workers virtually anywhere in the state of California. Our challenge as a network of providers has been to create a system that reduces delays and provides rapid medical care. By building new efficiencies and utilizing technology, we are able to eliminate the lengthy referral and authorization process of the past. The result? Patients more readily have access to additional professionals to aid in their treatment program, claims are expedited and costs reduced. We Listen! At Prospice Group Corporation, we have listened to our providers and we understand their issues. Providers want to stop feeling like they are being squeezed and unable to effectively do their job. Now they can operate under fair parameters and receive reasonable reimbursement standards! Only The Finest Providers We have selected a premier network of physicians, service providers, ancillary care providers, and in/out care facilities to participate in CHN’s network. Our network was not gathered through an open enrollment process and it wasn’t compiled from previous HMO and PPO provider list. While our competitors rely on these older provider networks that were grandfathered, their MPNs don't adhere to the same standards of credentialing, training and ethics requirements as CHN. Because of our credentialing and training process, we are able to offer one of the finest workers' compensation healthcare networks with the most trained providers. Meeting Employer Needs We have targeted regional needs according to our client needs. When an employer has a high concentration of employees in one area of the state, our flexibility enables us to enroll additional providers through our election and nomination process. Now employers are assured high quality and timely service.
